Nha Trang diving sites

Nha Trang Scuba Diving center organises a daily dive trip to the Marine Park of Hon Mun, an island of the Nha Trang Bay and the most famous site in Vietnam for scuba diving. With over 350 listed varieties of hard and soft corals the dive sites are occupied by tropical fish providing underwater scenic beauty with many magic macro moments.

Nha Trang diving sites: Nha Trang is famed with divers finding the more rare and elusive varieties of nudibranche, frog and scorpion fish. We also, from time to time, meet turtles released by The Marine Park Association. Hon Mun makes for nice relaxing diving allowing us to do a long dive as we can adjust the depth by following the reef more shallow when air is running low, most dive sites allow us to do our Safety stop at 5m over the reef below the boat.

18 meters deep is home to soft and hard corals. Frog fish, Ghost fish and the Sea urchin with their sharp thorns find refuge amongst the coral. Clown fish and Damsel fish school together around the soft coral clusters.

Small hill Nha Trang diving sites

Corals develop along the underwater cliffs to a depth of 45 meters. It’s a great place for a deep dive. Home to the Lion fish – “Queen of all the fish” and the Octopus, Scorpion fish, Frog fish and many other marine life depending on the depth.
Small wall Nha Trang diving sites

Dive site with a great slanting underwater cliff up to 30 meters deep. Perfect for deep or cave diving. Hidden in the caves is Octopus with their amazing tentacles, Lion fish, Nudibranch and many others makes this site vivid and full of life.

South rockNha Trang Diving sites

South Rock is an extensive coral garden with giant table corals, hundreds of years old. Home to many mysterious species of marine life the topography changes at 20 meters to a more varied coral and anemone.

South reef Nha Trang Diving sites

South reef is up to 27 meters deep. The coral reef has a great variety of different colored corals. Hidden in the reefs are Nudibranch, Barracuda, Stone fish, Moorish Idol and more.

Moray beach Nha Trang Diving sites

The name provokes thought of the primary marine residents of the dive site, the Moray. The Moray hunt at night, hiding in their caves during the day. With 7 or 8 morays with heads of 25 centimeters each they squeeze in a tight area as there habitat. They look fierce but behave themselves when they see divers. The view is beautiful and is very suitable for swimmers, snorkelers, discover scuba diving or beginners taking there PADI Open Water course.

Pipe beach Nha Trang Diving sites

Dive site up to 15 meters deep with species such as Pipe fish, Ghost fish, Sea horse, Flying Gurnard and more. There is a high concentration of corals along the mountain base, ideal for activities such as swimming, Discover scuba diving, fun dive and beginners taking the Open water course.

Lobster beach Nha Trang Diving sites

Lobster beach is up to 16 meters deep. The corals are scatted about and Lobsters, a high value marine species, can be seen. Also the Dragonet, Mantis shrimp, and Trumpet fish can be found here. In the past it was the breeding ground and home of sea turtles but due to affects of human impacts and environmental damage, turtles no longer settle here. Since the MPA was established, turtles are returning occasionally to breed.

Mamahanh beach with beautiful topography is 16 meters deep and home to Cuttle fish, Scorpion fish, Lion fish and more. Inside the mountains are salagane caves, bringing millions of dollars every year to the province from lucrative bird nests.

Madona rock Nha Trang Diving sites

Has many caves of different depths. The caves are breeding grounds for many species of fish. Schools of fish are tightly packed into the caves as the sun shines through the water to illuminate the place, making it look mysterious and splendid. The Giant Grouper weighing up to 45 kg. lives here and is surprised together with many rare species as divers venture along.

Under the water are large and deep caves, cliffs of 35 meters which are suitable for deep diving.

Small rock with big caves and beautiful green coral gardens are home to species such as Barracuda, Parrot fish, File fish, squirrel fish, and Smooth trunk fish.

Big wall Nha Trang Diving sites

Big wall is 45 meters deep, making it great for that deep dive. Schools of big fish like Double dotted queen fish, Rabbit fish, and Yellowtail can be found here.
