Rescue Diver Course

Rescue training takes you beyond the purely recreational level by expanding your knowledge and skills to assist other divers, handle problems and emergencies. Rescue certification is a prerequisite for all dive professional level training.

What’s involved?

During this course, you’ll learn how to foresee, prevent and manage potential diving accidents, from assisting a tired diver to handling possible emergency scenarios.

What do I need to start?

You must be an Open Water Diver and have recognised CPR certification, such as the Emergency First Response , within the past two years.

Vinadiving provides all equipment, boat trips, lunch, etc., for the duration of the course. We can lend you the  SSI Manual for all SSI Courses but the PADI  had included Manual.

Am I fit to dive?

Read this medical questionnaire or contact us for more information.

How long will it take?

Generally this course is completed over four days.

Day two – four

7h30 – 13h30: You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the harbor where you will board the Vinadive boat and head out to Mun Island – The first Marine Protected Area in Vietnam. On the way out to the island your instructor will come and sit with you and brief you on the first dive of the day. They will also tell you about the dive site that you will be visiting. Remember your instructor is there for you, to answer any questions and to help with any concerns that you might have.

Final, Your Instructor will set up a rescue scenario where you will need to put into practise everything you have learnt in the last 2 days by managing the scene & organising rescue & necessary first aid treatment.

After your second dive, its back to the boat for another de-brief and most importantly LUNCH. You will probably find that you are hungry after your dives as diving burns a lot of calories, so we are going to feed you a full cooked lunch on the boat. After lunch it is time to head back to the harbor and drop you off at your hotel.
